Hi there, my name is Miranda. I am a cybersecurity professional and a Ph.D. student. My expertise is in helping clients who are looking for meaningful IT careers. With over ten years of experience in IT and project management, my focus is providing effective educational and career services to clients with diverse work backgrounds. My main goal is to help them transition into the IT field successfully.

The stats. In 2016, the unemployment rate for cybersecurity fell to 0% and has remained at that level ever since. The number of unfilled jobs in cybersecurity 2023 remains at 3.5 million in 2023, with more than 750,000 positions in the U.S. Industry experts predict that the disparity between demand and supply will remain through at least 2025!
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that the median annual salary for information security analysts in 2021 was $102,600. This salary is more than double the national median earnings of workers across all industries ($45,760).
